Live Guest Illustrations
Live guest illustration creates beautiful keepsakes your guests can take home — more like mini artworks than quick favours. Painted in my signature faceless style, they offer a unique and memorable feature during your wedding day.
Because each illustration is hand-painted during your wedding, guest numbers are approximate and based on experience. I focus on creating meaningful keepsakes rather than rushing through numbers. Each illustration is hand-painted on A6 watercolour paper, and presented in mounts and protective sleeves.

Additional guest illustrations can be completed in the studio after your wedding day if you’d like everyone included. These are available from £18 per additional guest illustration.
Large Weddings & Guest Numbers
For larger weddings where couples are hoping to have every guest illustrated, live illustration may not always be the best fit due to the time required for each hand-painted piece. However, if you’re interested in a per-guest option, I’m always happy to discuss this separately. In these cases, illustrations are created across the wedding day and completed in the studio afterwards to ensure the same level of detail and care. Q: How does it work?
A: Live illustration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis during your celebration. I focus on creating meaningful keepsakes for each guest I illustrate rather than rushing through numbers. Additional guest illustrations can always be completed in the studio after the wedding if required.
Q: What does “faceless illustration” mean?
A: My illustrations are intentionally faceless, which allows me to focus on posture, clothing, hair, and personality. This way, each piece is recognisable, individual, and timeless, without needing a detailed portrait.
Q: How many guests can be illustrated?
A: Approximate guest numbers depend on the package you choose:
- Reception Sketch (3 hours): 12–15 guests
- Celebration Experience (5 hours): 18–22 guests
- Full Wedding Keepsake (8 hours): 30–35 guests
The exact number can vary depending on timing, guest flow, and pace.
Q: Can you do all the guests if I have a large wedding?
A: I prioritize quality over quantity. If there are more guests than can be completed live, I can finish additional illustrations in my studio after the wedding, so everyone you want included can still have a keepsake.
